How To Install Facebook Pixel Manually

Install a Facebook Pixel manually in two simple steps — find and copy the pixel code from Facebook, then paste the code to your website.

Before you begin, you need to have a website, a Facebook Business Manager account, and a Google account. You will also need to have a Facebook Pixel created.

Refer to How To Create Facebook Pixel if you need help creating a pixel.

Login to Facebook Business Manager.

In Events Manager, next to your pixel, click on Details.

You will be redirected to a overview page for your pixel.

On the upper right corner, click on Set Up.

Select Manually Install the Code Yourself.

First, find the placement within your website source code to install the pixel. The pixel needs to be nested inside the <head> tags.

Second, copy the script, exactly as provided, and paste it in the placement that you have previously identified.

When ready, click on Continue at the bottom of the modal.

Skip the advanced settings and scroll to the bottom of the modal.

Click on Done to close the modal.

Congratulations! You just manually installed a Facebook Pixel on your website!
